The Higher Qualification and Disciplinary Bar Commission have published already information regarding several court verdicts imposing administrative fine to officials who didn’t respond on attorney’s request.

On November 25, 2013 Pecherskyj District Court of Kyiv returned verdict, based on the consideration of the administrative case on holding the Head of the department of investigating and regulating insurance accidents of the Double Liability Company “Insurance Company with double liability “Globus”, which found the official guilty of committing the offence envisaged by the Article 212-3 of the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offences and imposed an administrative fine.

Mentioned court verdict is based on the fact that the Head of the department of investigating and regulating insurance accidents of the Double Liability Company “Insurance Company with double liability “Globus” breached the requirements of the second part of the Article 24 of the Law of Ukraine “On the Bar and Advocacy” by denying to respond to the attorney’s request in the scope of the legal aid rendered to the client.
